From Field to Table-- Harvesting and Arranging with Local Flowers, October 21, 2017

In this hands-on workshop we will take attendees into the Grassdale flower fields to harvest ingredients for creating a gorgeous fall arrangement. Small groups will be guided through each row of flowers and taught proper harvest mechanics for each variety, best growing practices, tips and tricks of flower care to achieve the longest vase life, and guidance on color palette selection.

Once your blooms are harvested we will head back to the farmhouse porch for refreshments and guided instruction from Gretchen to help you make a whimsical, sprawling floral arrangement for your table.

Included in the ticket cost: all supplies needed for making a gorgeous fall centerpiece, 2.5 hours of instruction, hands-on harvesting in the flower field, and light refreshments.
